Meet Yuri Kivshar. He is an expert in “metamaterials”. As a physicist, he works on bending light and making things invisible. He was good at maths at kid and physics was a natural progression, it was a good way to apply maths to something realistic. When he was younger, he longed to travel the world. Now he gets to do that as a scientist.
