Jessica, Ben and Craig all work in different areas within submarine engineering but work together to make sure it all integrates well.

Ben explains how he wasn’t really academic at school but has found a way to utilise his communication skills. He also discusses how his perception of an engineer was totally off.

Jessica talks about how gender isn’t a barrier while Craig talks about how his passion to find creative solutions to problems is the cornerstone of what he does.

All of them agree they have found a career they love, where they make a difference and draw upon many varied skill areas.

This activity is best suited to Year 7, 8 and 10 Physics and STEM students who are exploring future careers.
