Alison is a Meteorologist at the Bureau of Meteorology. She talks about her day to day role, and how she combines her scientific knowledge with a high level of communication skills to enable her to do her job.

This resource is best suited to Earth and Space students in Years 4, 6, 7 and 10 who are interested in weather patterns and how technology has constantly been evolving to provide scientists with more accurate data. It also highlights some of the other applications of meteorology, beyond weather forecasting.
