Stuart works as a Preventative Conservator helping to prolong the life of various museum pieces for State Government Institutions and Heritage Trusts.

In a nutshell, he stops old things crumbling away so future generations can enjoy them still.

He has a wide range of tasks in his day to day work which he carries out in a variety of locations. He utilises many different technologies to help him carry out his work.

This resource is best suited to Year  4, 6, 8, 9 and 10 Chemistry students who are looking for a different, practical application of their scientific understanding. It is particularly well suited to those learning about material properties.
