Meet mathematician and Senior Research Scientist in the Agriculture and Food Division of CSIRO, Dr Jaci Brown.

In this short video, Dr Jaci Brown talks about her career pathway in maths and how she carved out a role working in agricultural research, helping farmers work out the best crops to plant to achieve the best yields.

This resource is best suited to Year 6, 7 or 9 Biology and Earth and Space students learning about climate change and how that affects our crops here in Australia. It is also appropriate for Years 9 and 10 Work Studies.
