This short SCINEMA 2018 Community Program film follows Edward Hurme and his team as they study Mexican Fishing Bats, trying to work out exactly how they hunt and catch prey, using biological systems far more advanced than any technology we currently have to hand, and what we can learn from them.

This film and teachers’ resource could be used to deliver the Biological Sciences curriculum for Years 4 looking at ecosystems, Year 5 looking at specific adaptations the bats might have and Year 7 looking at food webs/chains.
