The D.I.Y. Science series contains some of our favourite experiments for kids to try at home. They are designed to help primary school teachers and carers inspire a child’s curiosity in science. It’s time to get hands-on.

This episode introduces students to non-newtonian fluids by teaching them how to make their own slime.

It is best suited to year 4, 5 and 7 Chemistry and Physics students who are learning about properties of solids, liquids and gases or are learning about forces. Give it a go even if you aren’t in these year groups – who doesn’t love slime?!
