The D.I.Y. Science series contains some of our favourite experiments for kids to try at home. They are designed to help primary school teachers and carers inspire a child’s curiosity in science. It’s time to get hands-on.

This episode shows you how to make your very own ice-cream in just 15 minutes using a little science know-how.

It is best suited to Year 5 and 8 Chemistry students who are learning about solids, liquids and gases or even Physics students who are learning about heat transfer.
