• comparing renewable and non-renewable energy sources, including how they are used in a range of situations

 

This resource may be useful for students in Senior Secondary looking to secure their basic knowledge and understanding before digging deeper.

Each article should take around 5 minutes to read and activities should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this activity:

All must: State the difference between a renewable and non-renewable resource.

Most should: Give examples of each, stating the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Some could: Describe how energy can be generated using renewable sources.

Consider which of the above learning outcomes you should be aiming for throughout this activity.
